Since 2021, Lithuanian Rural Network Support Unit has been organizing Future Village Creators Awards competition (Ateities kaimo kūrėjų apdovanojimai - AKKA), aiming to nominate the best good practice projects in the variuos categories. Projects for the competition were actively submitted by the National Paying Agency (NPA), Local Action Groups (LAG),  Lithuanian Rural Network members, and individual RDP beneficiaries.

During the Award Ceremony,  the best good practice projects and their success stories of the Lithuanian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 are presented and awarded. 

In 2024, the best practice projects have been selected in the following categories:

 

"Smart Farm" - Award for the implementation of  innovation and digital technologies in the field of agriculture.                                                                                   

"Innovative Business" - Award for the implementation of innovations and modern technologies in the field of non-agricultural business.

"Friendly with Nature" - Award for the application of environmentally friendly methods in the fields of agriculture, forestry and rural development.

"Welfare Creators" - Award for the creation and development of services that promote the inclusion of vulnerable groups in society.

"Initiatives of young people and/or women" – Award for the initiative of young people and/or women and the promotion of their activity.
